Continuing the NY Butoh-Kan Training Initiative, wherein CAVE and Garnica LEIMAY invite choreographers, both local and from around the world, to expose New York City dancers to new techniques, forms and expressions of butoh and butoh related dance.

“She is simply breathtaking, possessing a supple body that seems to have no spine, yet is anchored on a steel spike of consummate control. She is inspired by the natural elements, and her slow, methodical, yet radiantly beautiful explorations of physicality take her dance to a higher plane”

-People walk, our speed brings our gaze mostly to the horizon. The touch our feet on the ground is often elusive. Our eyes constantly fix towards our aim. On The Road and Dead End captures the nature within us touching the world that surround us and exist within us.-
